A 45% ABV Ultra Premium Craft Gin distilled from 100% Michigan yellow corn. Juniper, coriander, green cardamom, orange zest, lime zest, angelica root, orris root and turmeric root create a smooth, aromatic, citrus-forward gin with balanced botanical depth.
The Foundation
The base spirit is distilled from 100% Michigan yellow corn — a grain that gives a clean, refined foundation with a faint sweetness that neutral grain never offers. Proofed with pristine Great Lakes water. Nothing travels far to get into this bottle.
Eight Botanicals
Distillation
100% Michigan yellow corn, cooked and fermented at Shankar Distillers in Troy. Corn is chosen over neutral grain for the clean, faintly sweet foundation it leaves behind.
Stripped and rectified to a high-purity corn spirit. The cut is taken tight — the botanicals need a base that is clean, not merely neutral.
Eight botanicals introduced to the vapour path. Roots go in early for depth; orange and lime zest go in last so the citrus oils reach the glass intact.
Cut with pristine Great Lakes water to 45% ABV, rested, then bottled at 750 ml in Troy, Michigan.
Tasting Profile
Aromatic juniper with fresh citrus and gentle spice.
Bright orange and lime zest supported by coriander and green cardamom, with earthy botanical depth.
Smooth and warm, with subtle root botanicals and a delicate touch of turmeric.
Three Serves
Build over ice. Express the orange peel across the surface before you drop it — the zest in the gin and the zest in your hand should meet.
Stir over a single cube. The turmeric in the base reads as warmth against the bitter — that is the whole reason this version works better than it should.
Stir cold and strain. Lime rather than lemon, to follow the zest already in the spirit. At 45% it holds its shape all the way down.

Jealous & Co. started as a private argument about what a gin from Michigan could be. Not a London recipe made in America — an American spirit, built from the ground the grain grew in. One hundred percent Michigan yellow corn for a base that is clean rather than merely neutral. Great Lakes water. Eight botanicals chosen for balance instead of novelty, with turmeric root at the end to give the finish something nobody else has.
The House of Saanvis is on the bottle because everything here was built for the people it is named after.

I did not set out to make a gin. I set out to make something my family would be proud to put their name on, and gin turned out to be the honest answer — it is a spirit you cannot hide behind. Every decision in this bottle was made twice: once for how it tastes tonight, once for whether it will still be right in twenty years.
